Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my case is eligible for lawsuit funding?

Accident Lawsuit Funding accepts applications on all cases in which there is a claim for damages from injuries suffered by you the plaintiff, provided that you have already retained a lawyer. A list of eligible cases are listed on the bottom left on our home page for your review, although this is just some of the cases we fund. For further clarity, simply fill out the pre-application on the upper left of this page and an experienced agent will call you back immediately to discuss your case.

What if my Accident happened on the Job and is a Workman’s Compensation Claim?

We can fund in most states for worker’s compensation claims, for a complete list of the states please fill out our pre-application on the left and discuss your specific case with one of our sales representatives.

When do I need to pay the Advance back?

The non-recourse advance ONLY needs to be paid back IF you win your case. There are no out-of-pocket expenses whatsoever. Once your case settles, your lawyer will pay us the advance amount plus all fees and expenses due to us outlined in the contract.

Is this costly to me to do?

The rates we charge are typically more than a bank loan, however each case and the risks associated with it are different. Typically our rates our the lowest in the industry for accident lawsuit funding, however we only fund a small portion of your overall settlement value. We do this to ensure that you walk away with the “lion’s share” of your settlement, not us.

How long does the process take to get funding?

Go to “how the process works” page for a detailed version of the funding process. However, we are the only company that offers same day accident lawsuit approvals once all the documents are received. No other company in the industry is faster!

Is it is legal for me to sell a portion of my case?

Yes, there are no restrictions with selling your portion of the case, and many courts in the country have validated lawsuit funding as a viable option for plaintiffs who desperately need cash before their case settles.

Is there a minimum or maximum advance amount?

We accept applications for a minimum of $500 – and there is no maximum if your case value justifies it.

Does your company have any control in making decision on my case?

No. We have no legal right or opinion as to how you ultimately decide to resolve your litigation.

How fast will I receive my money after my contract is signed?

Your funds will either be wired or a check sent overnight once your fully executed contract is received, and approved by our legal department for funding.
